70’s Alumni Weekend with Main Street Market

Groovy, man! Like a blast from the past,  the Junction City High School and St. Xavier 70’s reunions are bringing back all those far-out vibes from the 1970s. There is a car and motorcycle show on 7th and Jefferson Streets alongside the Main Street Market (Check out the details below). Everyone will be reminiscing about the good old days while enjoying the festivities downtown. There is also a comedy show to close out the reunion celebrations at the C.L. Hoover Opera House at 7:00 PM.

Market Finds:

Who can resist those summer essentials at the Market? With the heat cranking up this weekend, stop by the Market for some juicy peaches from A&H Farm and Flores Farms which is the perfect way to cool down. Fresh melons, peaches, and salad ingredients – talk about a groovy way to beat the heat!

Don’t forget to treat your taste buds with some Half Mile Bakery: Amish Baked Goods from the Schetler family. They carry a variety of cookies, cakes, breads, and other baked goods. Don’t miss out on their assortment of handmade rugs and barn quilts. Stop by the ATM before shopping at their booth as they only accept cash.

Market Eats:

But wait, the fun doesn’t stop there! Jinzy Co Food Truck is joining the party, serving up some delicious Market Eats while you shop. The specials being served up this weekend are a Shroom Burger and a Brunch Burger. Not to mention all their regular menu items. Follow Jinzy on Facebook to stay up to date on their menu.

So put on your bell bottoms, grab your shades, and head to downtown Junction City for a groovy good time with the spirit of the 70s in the air.

The Main Street Market runs from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM every Saturday through October 28th at the corner of 8th and Jefferson.

See you at the Market, man!
