Junction City’s Promotion Program

The Promotion Committee seeks to create and partner on events designed to bring excitement, fun, and vibrancy downtown. It leads to efforts that present a positive image of our downtown commercial district and encourages consumers and investors to live, work, shop, play, and invest in the Main Street district, enhancing community pride. By marketing the district’s unique characteristics to residents, investors, business owners, and visitors, an effective promotional strategy promises a positive image through advertising, retail promotional activity, special events, and marketing campaigns, carried out by local volunteers. These activities enhance consumer and investor confidence in the district and encourage commercial activity and investment in the area. Street festivals, parades, retail events, and image development campaigns are some of the ways Main Street provides education on what’s downtown and encourages customer traffic.
