Flags of Geary County

Junction City Main Street invites you to participate in their Flag Project ultimately benefiting multiple local area organizations.  For a nominal contribution, JC Main Street will oversee placing and removing a leased 3 ft X 5 ft U.S. flag on a 10 ft pole in the lawn in front of your business and/or home 5 times a year for a total of 7 holidays. Flags will not be deployed if it is raining on the holiday in question.

 FIRST year pricing is $85.00 each

Flag prices for seven holidays for each subsequent year membership is renewed*

1-5 Flags…$65.00               6-14 Flags…$60.00             15+ Flags…$55.00 each

*There will be a small processing fee for each transaction.

*Membership is per calendar year. 

**Flag Etiquette requires the US Flag to be displayed from sunrise to sunset unless it is well lit.

***Residential, business, & building owners will be responsible for their own light (solar lights are recommended), as flags will be deployed prior to, and redeployed after, each holiday.

  • Patriot’s Day — September 11, 2026
  • Veterans Day — November 11, 2026

Acceptance into the program will be based on availability of flags. There will be a required renewal registration each year to continue. Anticipate receiving automated reminders after Veteran’s Day via email.

Please allow approximately 14–18 business days for base installation. Each installation includes a Safe Dig to ensure accuracy and safety.

[Participation in this program releases JCMS of, and from, any and all liability of any kind of nature, resulting or arising from the installation or flying of the flag, including resultant damage of all kinds to person or property. JCMS can cancel this program at any time, with Customer being entitled to a refund of the fee paid, based on a pro rata distribution].
