Junction City’s Economic Vitality Program

The Economic Vitality Committee is comprised of business owners directly impacted by what goes on in Junction City. Efforts of the committee are driven by a common understanding of existing and trending market forces. The Committee focus is on: recruiting compatible new businesses and sharpening the competitiveness of the traditional merchants and service businesses, while diversifying the economic base; creatively converting unused or underused spaces into economically productive property.  Economic Vitality and Design committees will seek solutions for historic commercial buildings that will ensure their continued occupancy, maintenance and preservation.
