Junction City Main Street uses a proven model that has produced impressive revitalization results in many other cities and states, the Main Street Four-Point Approach®.

This method leverages local assets to revitalize their districts by leveraging local assets – from cultural or architectural heritage to local enterprises and community pride. The four points of the Main Street approach work together to build a sustainable and complete community revitalization effort. The four points include: organization, promotion, design, and economic vitality.

Economic Vitality

Focuses on capital, incentives, and other economic and financial tools to assist new and existing businesses, catalyze property development, and create a supportive environment for entrepreneurs and innovators that drive local economies. Learn more about Economic Vitality.

Design

Supports a community’s transformation by enhancing the physical and visual assets that set the commercial district apart. This includes building façades, streetscape, public spaces and appropriate building renovations.
