Dress to impress in your merriest, tackiest holiday sweater, and join the fun! Whether you’re an adult, teen, or child, there’s a category just for you.

🏆 How to Enter:

  1. Dig out your most outrageous holiday sweater.
  2. Register online or on-site for a chance to win fabulous prizes! Those registering on-site are encouraged to come early.
  3. Arrive by 5:50 PM on December 02nd at the Large Tent on the third row of the Market at 8th and Jefferson. Judging will take place at 6:00 PM sharp.
  4. Strut your stuff and have fun!

Festive but Tacky Holiday Sweater Contest

To be eligible as a Tacky Holiday Sweater Contestant you must wear a Christmas or Winter themed Sweater, Sweatshirt, Sweater Vest or Jacket to the event. Turtlenecks and long or short-sleeved t-shirts will only be accepted underneath your Tacky Holiday Sweater attire, but it will not be considered worn by itself as a contest entry and therefore not eligible for judging. You may add to or alter your Holiday sweater however you like, have fun, and get creative. To be eligible as part of the “sweater” it must be attached. Additional items such as hats, jewelry, pants or other festive attire will not be considered when voting for the Tackiest Holiday Sweater, but we encourage you to wear other items for entertainment purposes.

The Festive but Tacky Holiday Sweater Contest will take place during December 02nd’s Dicken’s Christmas Market on 8th and Jefferson.
Participants will need to arrive no later than 5:50 PM at the enclosed tent on the third row. There will be a designated volunteer inside checking participants in.
Judging will begin promptly at 6:00 PM by our official fashion Judges.
1 Winner from each age category will be chosen and will receive $20 Christmas Market Bucks to spend during A Dicken’s Christmas Market with any vendor or food truck.
