Love Downtown Awards 2025
We are thrilled to announce that we received over 75 nominations for our Love Downtown Awards 2025, recognizing the most beloved businesses in our district! From delicious eateries to one-of-a-kind boutiques, the community showed up in full force to highlight the local spots they cherish most.
The awards presentation will take place at our IMPACT Social on February 18th at Blu Restaurant and Bar from 5:00-6:30 PM. Join us as we celebrate our amazing downtown businesses and reveal this year’s winners!
Junction City Arts Council Valentine’s Events
The Junction City Arts Council has been bitten by the love bug and is offering two exciting creative events this February:
- Valentine Gnome Acrylic Painting (Ages 16+) – Saturday, February 1 at 6:00 PM
- Valentine’s Card Making Class (Grades K-2) – Saturday, February 8 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
A Theatrical Valentine’s Date Night
Looking for the perfect Valentine’s activity for you and your special someone? Head to the Junction City Little Theater for a showing of Noises Off!
This hilarious theatrical farce by Michael Frayn takes audiences behind the scenes of a chaotic stage production, featuring a wildly unpredictable cast and crew. The Valentine’s Day performance is a great way to share some laughs with your loved one. Can’t make the February 14th showing? No worries—check out all of their available dates and times!

Galentine’s on 7th
Join Heartbreaker’s Beauty Parlor and Zetta’s on February 13, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM for an evening celebrating the Galentine’s on 7th!
A dozen local businesses are coming together to make Galentine’s Day, the day before Valentine’s, an event to remember!
- Heartbreaker’s Beauty Parlor will host a cocktail bar by D’z Lounge, tea drinks from JC Nutrition, and cupcakes from Babycakes. Plus, they’ll be offering free pink and red hair tinsels!
- Zetta’s will have Galentine’s sales specials, and upstairs in the loft space, you’ll find local sourdough bread, gourmet cookies, heart cakes, permanent jewelry from Salty Sunflower, and a photo selfie station by Dare to Dream Photography.
- The fun doesn’t stop there—Simply 115, the beloved local antique store across Washington Street to the west, will also be open late for more shopping and exploring!
This is a night to celebrate friendship and support local businesses. Attendance is free, and our wonderful vendors will have handcrafted and unique Valentine’s and Galentine’s gifts available for purchase. We invite you to join the celebration!
