A great start to June this past Saturday even with the wishy-washy weather that Kansas likes to boast. This Saturday, June 10^th our micro event is Milford Lake. Come down to the Market and learn about some of the opportunities in and around Milford Lake.

Milford Lake Fish Hatchery will be out with coloring books for the kids, a Walleye display, and a hauling rig they use to carry fish. Thunderbird Marina and RV and Flag Stop Resort & RV Park will be present and have cornhole activities for the kids. Acorns Resort RV will be parked at the Market. Cloud Community College will be attending with information on sun screen protection awareness. The Milford Remote Control Club will be at the Market with their remote control vehicles with opportunities for the kids to see them in action.

From week to week, we have a variety of non-profits. This week Geary County Hunting and Fishing Club/Pheasants Forever and DCCCA will be at the market to share what they do in the community. In addition to these great groups some vehicles participating in the Freedom Fest Mud Bog Event will be parked along Jefferson by the Market between 9-10 AM for a brief time.

La Hacienda On Wheels will be parked at the Market serving up a variety of tacos and burritos for purchase. Come support this local Food Truck and shop at the Market.
