Health and Wellness at Main Street Market (June 3rd)

It’s now been a month since Junction City Main Street Market began, and it’s going strong.  June 3rd is Health and Wellness at the Market. Pawnee Mental Health will be present to share the services they provide for the community.

We would like to welcome our non-profit organizations.  ATA Bus provides transportation services for Geary County and enables people to reach their destinations including access to health care. Geary County Food Pantry and Wheels of Hope provide those in need with emergency food and are supported by the community and their contributions.

As part of Health and Wellness, Six on Sixth Restaurant has partnered with Chapter Five Yoga to bring “Yoga and Mimosas” on Saturday at 9:30 AM, at the Six on Sixth restaurant. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased here which includes one Mimosa.

JCGymTastics will be performing at 9:15 AM in their parking lot adjacent to the market, coupled with their annual yard sale and bake sale benefiting their upcoming Xcel Gymnastic team season (Sale runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM).

Clarabel’s Dance Studio will be hosting an exhibition in the Main Street Market parking lot at 10:00 AM.

Danger Futbol Club will be showcasing its program this Saturday, June 3, with a come-and-go event in the grassy property located across from Godfrey’s Shooting Range, between 9th and 10th Streets off of Washington Street.  Youth 3-17 years of age are invited to attend and participate in this event, learn more about soccer, and learn how to become a part of the Danger Futbol Club.  Tryouts for the Club are set for June 17 at Filby Park Field!  Come out and see the future of JC Soccer.
